The Institute's multi-parameter analysis returns a directional signal of three columns to one in Iran's favour — turf composition, stadium conditions, and national symbolism to Iran, kit chromatography alone to New Zealand — with the historical column, reopened for the first time since Report 014, adding a fourth Iranian column outside the formal count. The desk regards the freshly-laid SoFi surface as the determining circumstance of the afternoon: a hybrid lawn grown for warm-season durability, watered to a dry-surface reading of 0.93, rewarding the side whose domestic game is played in comparable heat on comparable grass.
New Zealand's kit visibility coefficient of 1.12× clears the 1.10 threshold the desk requires before a losing side's strongest term is credited against the run of play, but falls short of the 1.30 threshold that would warrant a second such conversion; the consolation-goal allowance was accordingly assessed and granted at a single goal, the silver fern's sharpest reading of the competition converting once and once only.
