Ghana vs Panama

The GrassRank Institute has completed its analysis of the Group L fixture between Ghana and Panama at BMO Field, Toronto — the only purpose-built football stadium among this tournament's sixteen venues, a distinction the Institute records with the mild satisfaction of an inspector finding, for once, the correct paperwork already in order. The five sections proceed as scheduled.

Section One — Turf Composition Index

BMO Field's tournament pitch is maintained to FIFA's specified dimensions of 105 by 68 metres, re-laid as natural grass for the World Cup configuration following the venue's customary hybrid surface.
